Man, this is what pisses me off the most about DPC. Why do this?
I paid extra attention to make sure I spend time with both of them equally and they even said so when the matter came up in conversation. So why do this now? Why must the game choose for me only one of them when I am in a relationship with both? It makes absolutely no sense for MC to say 'I love you' to one of them and not to the other if you are properly balancing things. You should be given an option to do so. If we want to later pursue a solo path, that's fine. But if we want to keep in the throuple path, then we should be given the option to say 'I love you' to both of them. Now I have Maya sad in the couch because I said it to Josy and didn't to her even though I want to, the game just didn't gave me a fucking option. This is some serious bullshit DPC is pulling. He is forcing us into a drama that we don't want.
The same is going on with Sage path. The game simply doesn't give you the scene where you say to Sage that you love her if you choose to go for a threesome with Camilla. Why? Why lose this precious development in their relationship just because you decided to have some sexy fun with your girlfriend?. It makes no sense at all to me why those two scenes are mutually exclusive. They could very well have a small scene where they lay into Sage's bed and confess their feelings. Instead, we pretty much get a branching path inside a branching path.

Question. You know after Josy shows up and you have to choose to stay with either Derek, Sage, or Bella?
In order to get on the others path for season 3 do you need to stay with Sage? Or can you get the others path regardless of who you stay with?

Honestly the biggest thing that helped me here is to avoid playing on a non-gaming laptop or something and play on a more powerful computer. Because of all the scripts running, my laptop lags like hell during the science minigame and honestly can be a challenge to complete on time because of how long it takes to click stuff. On my desktop, I finished with like 120 seconds to spare and got 100% purity. So if whatever you're playing on is lagging during the science minigame, considering temporarily transferring your saves to a more powerful device if you can.

I think I messed things up colossally in my playthrough. I'm following Sage's path and have played for about 5-6 hours, and so far, only one gallery scene has been unlocked. That one doesn't even really count since it's about the MC's parents. From what I've seen, there should be at least three scenes with Sage in this episode...

Yeah, it can be pretty annoying. Like, i guess i can see what DPC was going for (since if you tell one of the girls you love her, it sort of becomes a point in their later talk about their lack of communication) but at the same it can get pretty silly when you that, under the hood, game is doing this relationship weighting thing
(and in my case the difference came down to something like 4 decimal places on the rpoints/max rpoints ratio: 0.5675 vs 0.5671, and Maya"won". Which i don't mind because it fit better with Josy being busy with her thing, but still. silly)
